Helping individuals reconnect with biological family lines, uncover ancestral
origins, and restore lost pieces of their family story through
historical records, DNA research, and genealogical investigation.
After being adopted as a child, I spent years searching for answers about my
biological roots. Through DNA testing, historical records, military documents,
obituaries, and genealogical research, I reconstructed multiple generations of my
biological family history and reconnected pieces of my identity that had been lost for decades.
This journey became one of the inspirations behind Reedistry’s mission: helping
others preserve memories, discover family connections, and restore forgotten stories.

After being adopted as a child, I spent years searching for answers about
my biological roots. Through DNA testing, historical records, military documents,
obituaries, and genealogical research, I identified previously unknown biological
family connections and reconstructed multiple generations of family history.
This project demonstrates how DNA evidence and traditional genealogy can
work together to uncover lost family connections, answer lifelong questions,
and restore pieces of identity that may have been missing for decades.
